Lesson Observation 2

The overall atmosphere of the class was quite harmonious, the theme of the class was fruit, the teacher showed different fruits, and the students sat in a big circle. While teaching fruit names, color is also mentioned.

The teacher then took the warm-up game of picking a classmate, covering his eyes with a scarf, and picking a piece of fruit. Let her guess what fruit it is, what color it is, based on her sense of touch. Then take off the scarf and tell and encourage her to answer correctly. Several students were selected in turn, and the warm-up activities are pretty good and the students also participated actively.

After that, teacher asked everyone to stand up and draw out the numbers 1-6 to learn by clapping, turning, jumping, etc. And then use the flashcards to ask “how many apples are there”, “how many pears are there ”,“what is the color of this fruit?” and so on to consolidate the numbers learning.

Finally, the teacher plays the number song again, everyone stands up and walks around hand in hand to strengthen the number learning.

  1. I also love the game - "how many apples/pears". It was so fun when they count together and sing the song while circling!
