Lesson Observation 1

The class was all boys, the male teacher was full of energy, the whole class was very relaxed and fun, and everyone actively participated. I like this classroom atmosphere very much.

First, everyone stood up and began to warm up in the form of action songs. The topic of this lesson is animals. Then the teacher use the flashcards to start the questions and answers, like what animal is this?..After that, the students were divided into two groups, in the form of a football game, who gets the right answer more which side scores a goal. Everyone was very positive and excited.

But obviously classroom management is a very big challenge, the students are noisy and not sitting in position. So for this situation, maybe we can set some classroom rules before the class starts, tell them that you can get rewards if you follow them, and so on.

The teacher's error correction strategy is to let a student think again when he gives a wrong answer and let other students answer again.

This is my first clil class. The content of the class is about continents.
