Lesson Observation 3

This lesson was extremely interactive, interesting, informative, and engaging.  At the beginning of the class, the teacher started the class with colors, and let the children with green, black and pink elements stand together. Then the teacher and the students sat down together in a circle.  The activities taken by the teacher in class include: taking a doll, taking turns to ask everyone "how they are today", "what is your name", and warm up activities such as clapping, circling, and jumping. Then the teacher drew pictures on the blackboard and asked the students to guess what is it. After that they were divided into two groups according to the fruit and scored. Throw dolls to students to answer questions: Storytelling.  The props and materials she use are flashcards, dolls, storybooks. The most impressive activity is drawing pictures on the blackboard and asking students to score questions in groups. In this way, all the students are highly active and it is easier ...

Lesson Observation 2

The overall atmosphere of the class was quite harmonious, the theme of the class was fruit, the teacher showed different fruits, and the students sat in a big circle. While teaching fruit names, color is also mentioned. The teacher then took the warm-up game of picking a classmate, covering his eyes with a scarf, and picking a piece of fruit. Let her guess what fruit it is, what color it is, based on her sense of touch. Then take off the scarf and tell and encourage her to answer correctly. Several students were selected in turn, and the warm-up activities are pretty good and the students also participated actively. After that, teacher asked everyone to stand up and draw out the numbers 1-6 to learn by clapping, turning, jumping, etc. And then use the flashcards to ask “how many apples are there”, “how many pears are there ”,“what is the color of this fruit?” and so on to consolidate the numbers learning. Finally, the teacher plays the number song again, everyone stands up and walks ar...

Lesson Observation 1

The class was all boys, the male teacher was full of energy, the whole class was very relaxed and fun, and everyone actively participated. I like this classroom atmosphere very much. First, everyone stood up and began to warm up in the form of action songs. The topic of this lesson is animals. Then the teacher use the flashcards to start the questions and answers, like what animal is this?..After that, the students were divided into two groups, in the form of a football game, who gets the right answer more which side scores a goal. Everyone was very positive and excited. But obviously classroom management is a very big challenge, the students are noisy and not sitting in position. So for this situation, maybe we can set some classroom rules before the class starts, tell them that you can get rewards if you follow them, and so on. The teacher's error correction strategy is to let a student think again when he gives a wrong answer and let other students answer again.
